A Poem for the Day

She Is a Wild child
All the while
Her feelings can not be tamed
Her style can not be renamed
Her Afro a wild mane
Her heart often Insane
She gives no reasons for Love
And most times none for the loss
A crazy toss
A Beautiful Mess
and Still she's Blessed

Poetry Bits and Pieces My Haiku's and Sixwords

Lover's love~igniting like~ into action
A seductive past/in her mind put them in line/all of the victims
Three Generations/ of pain, secrets and some hope/mixed in with beauty
Justifying tears/with the back swipe of her hand/ she wipes them away
Tears travel/ down her cheek/ escaping the chin/
Breathless beauty/feeling Blue/ loves in red/
An early evening/nothing between moon and I/ except the window
Hopeful lover, outstretched hands, open heart

Poetry: Original Woman

Telling her Story
She's the song midnight sings before dawn
The prayer to her womb
homage paid to her thick lips
The curves in her hips
her kinky curls in her hair that drip
her dark chocolate skin/
where the ancestors begin
what the mirror said
she's an Original Woman

Why American Indians Keep their hair Long.Hair is an Extension of the Nervous

by C. YoungSeptember 8, 2011
from UnitedTruthSeekers Website

This information about hair has been hidden from the public since the Viet Nam War .

Our culture leads people to believe that hair style is a matter of personal preference, that hair style is a matter of fashion and/or convenience, and that how people wear their hair is simply a cosmetic issue.

Back in the Viet Nam war however, an entirely different picture emerged, one that has been carefully covered up and hidden from public view.

In the early nineties, Sally [name changed to protect privacy] was married to a licensed psychologist who worked at a VA Medical hospital. He worked with combat veterans with PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder.

Most of them had served in Viet Nam.

Sally said,

"I remember clearly an evening when my husband came back to our apartment on Doctor's Circle carrying a thick official looking folder in his hands.
Inside were hundreds of pages of certain studies commissioned by the government. He was in shock from the contents. What he read in those documents completely changed his life. From that moment on my conservative middle of the road husband grew his hair and beard and never cut them again.
What is more, the VA Medical center let him do it, and other very conservative men in the staff followed his example. As I read the documents, I learned why.

It seems that during the Viet Nam War special forces in the war department had sent undercover experts to comb American Indian Reservations looking for talented scouts, for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain. They were especially looking for men with outstanding, almost supernatural, tracking abilities.
Before being approached, these carefully selected men were extensively documented as experts in tracking and survival.

With the usual enticements, the well proven smooth phrases used to enroll new recruits, some of these indian trackers were then enlisted. Once enlisted, an amazing thing happened. Whatever talents and skills they had possessed on the reservation seemed to mysteriously disappear, as recruit after recruit failed to perform as expected in the field.

Serious casualties and failures of performance led the government to contract expensive testing of these recruits, and this is what was found.

When questioned about their failure to perform as expected, the older recruits replied consistently that when they received their required military haircuts, they could no longer 'sense' the enemy, they could no longer access a 'sixth sense' , their 'intuition' no longer was reliable, they couldn't 'read' subtle signs as well or access subtle extrasensory information.

So the testing institute recruited more indian trackers, let them keep their long hair, and tested them in multiple areas.
Then they would pair two men together who had received the same scores on all the tests. They would let one man in the pair keep his hair long, and gave the other man a military haircut. Then the two men retook the tests.

Time after time the man with long hair kept making high scores. Time after time, the man with the short hair failed the tests in which he had previously scored high scores.

Here is a typical test:
The recruit is sleeping out in the woods. An armed 'enemy' approaches the sleeping man. The long haired man is awakened out of his sleep by a strong sense of danger and gets away long before the enemy is close, long before any sounds from the approaching enemy are audible.
In another version of this test the long haired man senses an approach and somehow intuits that the enemy will perform a physical attack.
He follows his 'sixth sense' and stays still, pretending to be sleeping, but quickly grabs the attacker and 'kills' him as the attacker reaches down to strangle him.

This same man, after having passed these and other tests, then received a military haircut and consistently failed these tests, and many other tests that he had previously passed.

So, the document recommended that all Indian trackers be exempt from military haircuts. In fact, it required that trackers keep their hair long."

Comment

The mammalian body has evolved over millions of years. Survival skills of human and animal at times seem almost supernatural.

Science is constantly coming up with more discoveries about the amazing abilities of man and animal to survive. Each part of the body has highly sensitive work to perform for the survival and well being of the body as a whole. The body has a reason for every part of itself.

Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly-evolved 'feelers' or 'antennae' that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the
neocortex.

Not only does hair in people, including facial hair in men, provide an information highway reaching
the brain, hair also emits energy, the electromagnetic energy emitted by the brain into the outer environment. This has been seen in Kirlian photography when a person is photographed with long hair and then rephotographed after the hair is cut.

When hair is cut, receiving and sending transmissions to and from the environment are greatly hampered. This results in 'numbing-out'.

Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds.

It contributes to sexual frustration.

Conclusion

In searching for solutions for the distress in our world, it may be time for us to consider that many of our most basic assumptions about reality are in error.

It may be that a major part of the solution is looking at us in the face each morning when we see ourselves in the mirror. The story of Sampson and Delilah in the Bible has a lot of encoded truth to tell us.

When Delilah cut Sampson's hair, the once undefeatable Sampson was defeated.

Peace Family Happy New Year! This being my first blogpost of the New Year! This article was shared with me yesterday by a Sista Friend on FB and I was intrigued by it..Of course. My grandmother had long black hair all the way down her back she was a "Originial" Cherokee Indian (not native american) she taught us the same concepts about our hair. So I was drawn to the truth and science in this article..Ase'... Peace, Love and Unstopplable Blessings...

Love Poetry Volume I

Lovelight DeepLove

he says:
 I enter u
Soul speak sort to speak
Begin climb to eclipse peak
Eyes seeing heart so heart
Leaps .....

she says:
Your eyes like stars
 lighting my neglected light
Soul Searching
hands wander
you trace my curves
with no words
nothing to say or to be said
as your fingers intertwine with mine
grabbing the bed sheets
We Seek

he says:
silence becomes the place we view this unheard love
it listens as we hone from above
clear coherent climbing to hove
fly float combining this feeling of expressed in symbol dove
peace peeled in each layer of skin
that blends in the brightness
of the night

she says:
The Moon lights our Passion filled journey
a silhouette of our flesh
tangled
our tongues dance to each others groove
synchronizing rhythms
of love untold

he says....
Unfolding moves
Deepening grooves .... It behooves us to take hold of this
Us bless
Fresh water wetness .... I pull the breath connect
And breathing reflects .... Our union depth
Divine shine
Ur mine

she says:
In your arms time unwinds
as our souls  grind
We combine in a Love that's Sublime
It Rhymes
 your eyes melt mine
you're so fine
Your Love refines my shine
Each breath Bliss
licking my lips waiting  for the next Kiss...

he says:
i want to activate this word
 make it love us/
envision us
i want this word to moan
make mind mend
to move to be
i want this word true

   The Anatomy of His Kiss
       ~B. Sharise Moore

His kiss is bone.
 the thirty-third vertebrae
intricate cog of knotted stomach
and butterflied flutter
 time sheet of nerve ending
river of want spilled
over heaping spoon of tongue
 his breath, ligament
and yearn
the slick and the slide
our lips, uneven bars
a perfect purse
of where impossible meets
intermittent dream
 day trader of nibble
lick
suck
sigh
his delicate bite
is a coiling respiration
kickback
pinwheel
a clockwork
respite
from routine
the safest danger
 his skin, a mosaic splash
of Middle Eastern silk hung subtly
across dark copper jaw
 he is fragmented mirage
the unhinging before the howl
makes me a muted
maim of a lover
and
I can only beg from the
pits of my pupils
 he snatches my speech
catches it between teeth
grinds it to chunk
of unintelligible grunt
swallows
sinks
inch by
inch
 he is
heave and
muscle
and hands held
and tight grasp.
and moan thrower
and gasp hurler
and wind sower
and seismic shift.
and thought staller
and think freeze.
and sane stealer
and heat tweaker.
and temperate boiler
and steam sucker.
and thunder feeler
and faint maker.
and shout bearer
and time meddler
and love peddler
and he is
and he is
and he
is...

For 3 A.M.
and then the rains came
no overture or prelude
in a higher key than we
as if I'd squeezed the last red word from your tongue
and sunsoft cotton caught each drop

fire to water, heat to sweat
we met on the bridge from fantasy to reality
lost in arms that didn't give directions
staring at eyes that shone no sight

the rains came
washing away
the doubt

 "The Honey Drips"
 My heart is poundin'
My mind is racin'
Every muscle in my body
Anticipatin'
Therefore, causin' the honey
To
Drip...drip...drip
As he grabs a hold of my buttocks
Then licks around the chocolate cherry
Before he begins to...suck
My chocolate body buldin' up the fluid
Then the closer he gets...to...the
Clit
There it is
Drip, drip, drip
My chocolate body releases the fluid and
The honey drips

come with me

come on and take this journey with me
who cares where we end up lets just go
we can go to the stars or heavens above
to the deepest depths or hells below
does it matter as long as we have one another?
the longer the better so come lets begin
any challenge we can conquer as long as we're together
we'll be each others shield
my strength shall complement your weakness and vi-sa ver-sa
no matter what is thrown our way we will come out on top
i'm willing to put all on the line so what are you worried for?
a journey threw the fabric of reality it self is what i want
to the ends of time and space beyond all reasoning and back
lets go lets go......why wait? lets go lets go before its to late
a leap of faith is all it takes
ill catch you when you fall as long as you do the same for me
we can be the greatest of the great hero or villain
just as long as when the end comes we stand strong together
so come on and follow me on this wild adventure
no telling where we end up but who cares as long as its together
all the new friends and enemy's we meet is only half the fun
in the end will be stronger for all of the trial and tribulations
so come on and grab my hand and lets begin shall we
let the winds of time take us
spread our wings wide and plunge into life's uncertainties

                            Submission

All I thought of was conquering you

                Forcing you to submit

Another conquest added to the
Admired you for your independence
Wit and intellect
And coveted your physical form
Every trick and move I had
I pulled out the bag
Yet stubbornly you wouldn't fold
I wanted you to be mine
How arrogant was I
Yet you did not shun me
Slowly you chipped away at me
My false bravado melted like frost
Underneath your Spring time touch
Foolishly I thought I was making way
Those times you became distant Like a foreign Goddess
Humbling where these experiences
Stubbornly though I persisted
Yet the goal changed
You remained the focus
But the tactics evolved
I fell in love
And when you took note
That's when you gave into submission
But never a lesser
My equal and my teacher
For love is what you gave me
I was conquered through submission

I used my phallic piece
As a chisel, and with
Each stroke I carved
A miniature figurine
Encased in her body of onyx.

Her skin is sun-kissed
With baby oil,
A glistening moon stone
Hardened through centuries
Of endurance,
But still smooth to my touch.

She has absorbed the UV rays
From various suns since
The dawn of...
And within her crater
Those rays congeal into
The essence of her beauty:

A moon stone whose illumination
Dims when within my arms,
Only to brighten as chips are flicked
Off to grow into future moon stones.

Manifestations Of Love and Friendship

We are truly at our best when we are around people that are happy, healthy and who lift us up. The ones who are not afraid to love us right where we are and who tell us the truth. Who Love us fearlessly and relentlessly.  I have very few people that I call friends than I did a few years ago and the list keeps decreasing. I'm never afraid to cut anyone off and I'm never afraid to discontinue in a relationship that I feel is unhealthy for me. I'm all about healing and I'm serious about mine. Some people will keep you sick and stuck if you allow them to.

I'm all about diversity and widening my circle in that same sense. I like people who challenge and encourage me to grow and inspire me to keep the bar raised high, however there are not too many that do that. In order for me to stay hopeful I need to be around like minded people, people who are working towards change and wellness. Folks who are serious about the upliftment and advancement of my people.

I love the youth and interact with them often, I learn from them.  I have met many fabulous minds through counseling and community projects. I like people who love not like but LOVE music, culture, art, poetry, language, writing and most of all LIFE. My first time dancing to some deep, soulful house music years ago with someone, was with a brotha from Japan who was full japanese and his energy was contagious and had an afro kinkier and curlier than my own. That's when I really began to understand diversity and how important and relevant it is to survival and getting free from ignorance.
Diversity is a must.

I'm forever reordering my priorities.  Life gets busy and hectic even confusing at times. Its during those times though that we can't get so caught up that we forget to say "Thank you" to our higher power and to those that Love and support us, honestly and sincerely throughout our Journey. The people that we care about, should know it and should never have to wonder about it or second guess it. The people that inspire me know that they do. It's not a secret.

We have to choose our friendships and relationships wisely, selectively and with Integrity. Never being afraid to disregard what and who doesn't match. This is a great practice in Self Love. Never staying in a uncomfortable place or situation. We have to be free to just BE without all the extra. True friendships are a safe place always remember that.  So remember Love who you Love and don't forget to tell them that you Love them and appreciate them. Say Thank You to them and mean it.

Namaste, Peace, Passion and unstoppable Growth and Blessings

A Cuzzin of Yours (@cuzzin_queens)

...cuzzin queens is what i go by...hailing from the west side of the
2nd half of the name...a regular man making steps towards fully tapping into my
original self...or die chasing such...3 words i dislike: always, never &
impossible...that is until ive realized dreams are always never impossible...go
figure...
...i see people caught within a well-designed scheme to slowly
eradicate us...but i also see souls who glow brightest in the midst of
madness...i see a world manipulated by mainstream media in order to keep folks
entertained...but i also see exactly what they think about me while they're
continuing to do so...i see the jay-z's, the beyonce's, the kanye west's & the
lady gaga's...but i also see the dead prez', the mela machinko's, the bone
thugs-n-harmony's & the jill scott's...i see what most folks would deem a
stranger...but i also see a distant relative...i see how senseless it is to
break the bank to purchase something too expensive for peoples' means...but i
also see the feeling & the joy that it brings them after buying...i see the lies
& biased opinions of damn near every newspaper...but i also see something that i
could use to wipe my ass with if i were to run out of tissue...
       ...i see corruption & tyranny...but i also see fairness & prosperity...i
see asses shaking & titties bouncing...but i also see exactly where 3yr old
trechelle wimberly will most likely refuse to place herself...i see housing
projects as overgrown roach motels...but i also see a place that im very proud
to have come from & survived...i see folks who want to be like others...but i
also see the struggle for acceptance in the face of being broke...i see big
corporations leech the lifeforce out of the masses...but i also see people
occupying wall street...i see how the oppressors are mobilizing, gaining steam
towards what they believe is an inevitable plan...but i also see a growing
number of folks who are awakening, realizing & becoming fed up with the current
& whats to come...i see governments beginning to tighten to noose...but i also
see revolution...i see death...but i also see life...i see you...but i also see
me...in you...lets get it...
